Girls’ Generation, EXO-M, Teen Top, B1A4 to Hit Bangkok

A-class Korean pop stars will share the stage with up-and-coming Thai artists next week.

Girls’ Generation, EXO-M, Teen Top, B1A4 have teamed up with Thai musicians Thaitanium, Groove Riders, and Tor to heat up the Super Joint Concert in Thailand, which will open at Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on March 30, its co-host firm JTBC said on Wednesday.

While Sunny of Girls’ Generation and Kim Jong-kook, whose popularity is growing in Asia with his hit variety “Running Man,” will emcee the event, organizers of the big-scale music show guarantee minimum of five songs per group.

“If most overseas K-pop concerts have focused on spreading one-sided Hallyu before, ‘Super Joint Concert’ will be an actual cultural exchange between Korean and Thai artists through their performances,” officials from the show’s organizer KPIB said.

The joint event, set to donate a part of the profits for scholarships for teenagers, is to hit the airwaves on JTBC on April 13.
