Mnet is holding the “2012 KPOP Fan-club Awards” to recognize the fans that support their favorite artists. Soshified has been chosen as the representative fan-club for Girls’ Generation.
The “2012 KPOP Fan-club Awards” will be open for participation from December 14th through January 20th, with the announcement of the winner on January 31st. In order to participate, fans just have to click “Attendance” next to Soshified. Fans can vote with Mnet ID, Facebook, and Twitter, once each per day on the awards website.
Whichever fan-club receives the most attendance check-ins will be declared the winner of Mnet’s fan-club award. The first place prize is promotional activities in Korea under the winning fan-club’s name for their artist, as well as an official Mnet fan-club emblem. Winning will allow that fan-club’s artist to receive promotional funds from Mnet. Some examples of the promotional activities are a bus advertisement or Gangnam Mediapol commercial, and a huge electronic display at the CJ E&M center.
If Soshified wins, these promotions for Girls’ Generation would be worth thousands of dollars. At times, it is difficult for international fans of Girls’ Generation to help promote them in their home country, but this is our chance! Clicking “Attendance” for these awards costs nothing, but the value of winning is real. We would have a direct impact on the promotion and publicity of Girls’ Generation.
Winning this award is not just about Soshified. No matter where we are from, all SONEs love and support Girls’ Generation. SONEs are the best fans in K-Pop. Let’s show the girls just how much we support them by winning this award and directly helping Girls’ Generation.
